Of the body of Jules Pascin's work currently on display at the Musée Maillol, I most enjoyed the warm portraits shrouded in Impressionism and storybook-like pen and ink female sketches. Watercolour hues imperfectly washed atop caricatures produce work of a raw quality that compliments his subjects.

don't know where to put it - I wanted to tell you how beautiful I find your blog, you really do have an eye for beauty! my favourite photos were those of the ceiling in the opera garnier with the chagall fresco. just beautiful.
