Sleeping beneath chiseled monuments in the Pere Lachaise Cemetery, blanketed in flowers and kisses, lie composer Frederic Chopin and writer Oscar Wilde.

Per Chopin's request, "The earth is suffocating. Swear to make them cut me open, so that I won't be burried alive," his heart was removed.
